🍜 Recently Tried Two Rowland Heights Spots — Honest Reviews

1. Fish With You Located in Diamond Plaza — went in with high hopes due to strong ratings, left pretty disappointed 😕 Their signature sour fish soup tasted like pre-made or frozen food — missing the rich broth and tender fish that make this dish special. Even the rice was hyped as a highlight… which says a lot. Not returning. 2. Chili Boss This spot replaced an earlier restaurant and serves Hunanese cuisine, famous for their pressure-cooker fish head. I visited once before — the fish head took forever, and shortly after, they seemed to close temporarily. Went again on a Monday night after Thanksgiving — I was the only customer the entire time 🥶 Service was slow, dishes lacked wok hei (that smoky stir-fry essence), and the Hunan-style aroma and richness were missing. Tried to order their specialty cured meat — not available. Stir-fried pork and dried shrimp were bland and forgettable. Won’t be going back. Sometimes high ratings don’t tell the whole story — trust your taste buds and the vibe of the place 🫤 #RowlandHeightsEats #HunanCuisine #SourFish #ChineseFoodLA #HonestReview #FoodLetdown #LAEats #TryAtYourOwnRisk #DiningDiaries #NotRecommended #LocalFoodScene
