The strong basil flavor really comes through, likely because the basil leaves were muddled in the shaker beforehand. Surprisingly, the banana flavor isn’t very strong; this cocktail leans more toward chocolate and the smoky notes of the whiskey. It’s kind of a twist on the Old Fashioned and is really enjoyable.
