Recording What I’ve Been Eating Recently 😋

1️⃣ Essential by Christophe I chose four dishes, all of which were pretty good. My favorite was the scallop. It’s truly the most Chinese-stomach-friendly French restaurant in New York. 😋 2️⃣ Jua A very popular Korean place. I think it’s just okay. The two kim dishes were delicious, but the others were pretty average. 🍜 3️⃣ Tán A super-popular Mexican restaurant. The decor is very 🇲🇽! Almost everything I ordered had carbs, haha. I recommend the short rib and lobster tacos. Their homemade sauces are really tasty. 4️⃣ HOJOKBAN A K-town favorite. I’ve been there twice recently, and the food was good both times. The must-order dishes are pretty much the same at every table, haha. 5️⃣ Hirohisa I had been recommended their seafood rice at lunch but never got around to trying it. This time, I booked their omakase dinner. It was my first time enjoying an omakase where I liked every single dish. 🥢🥳 6️⃣ Okatte Tanto Their oden is just so delicious! One time, I went there after dinner just because I craved more. But you have to call ahead to reserve a spot. There aren’t many seats, so it’s hard to walk in. They’ve also opened a jazz bar upstairs called AO. It’s super hidden, and you can pop up there for a drink after your meal! 🎶 #NewYorkFood #FoodDiary #NewYork 🌃🌟
