Restaurant Review: Masami Japanese Cuisine in Dallas

🍣First of all, this is the most authentic Japanese restaurant I've been to that matches my impression of Japanese dramas (maybe because the head chef at the counter looks like a very professional Japanese gentleman and is dressed in traditional Japanese attire). 🌟This place is also said to be one of the most cost-effective Japanese restaurants in Dallas. We went for dinner at 5:30 p.m. on a weekend, and within just 10 minutes, the restaurant was full. By 6:30 p.m., there was already a line waiting to get in—it was really crowded! Vegetable Tempura: I loved it. In a place like the U.S. where it's hard to find a variety of vegetables, a plate of vegetable tempura allows you to enjoy many different types at once, and there are no strange seasonings! I really liked it💕! The batter wasn't too thick, but it did get a bit greasy by the end. Steamed Clams in Wine: I didn't like this dish. The steamed broth was very salty, and the clams were small and not very fresh or sweet. I remember having clams cooked with venus clams back in China, which I really enjoyed. Sashimi Salad: The ingredients were fresh, but I was surprised by how little there was. Just one piece of salmon?! Maybe because there were so many varieties, the quantity couldn't be balanced. If you're dining alone🍽️, I'd recommend ordering the sashimi set A or choosing your favorite items individually; I think you'll get more that way!! I also ordered a sea urchin sushi roll. The sea urchin sushi is priced according to the market. The Colombian sea urchin was 7🔪 each, and the Japanese sea urchin was 9🔪 each. I ordered the Colombian one. It was quite creamy, but there was a slight fishy taste. Overall, this restaurant is pretty average in terms of taste. I'll try other places next time and compare before giving a more definitive review. #JapaneseCuisine #DallasFood #Sashimi
