Review of Gwen — One of LA’s Top Steakhouses 🥩✨
This was my second visit to Gwen, one of the few Michelin-starred steakhouses in the city. Before the steak arrives, there’s a knife selection ritual — each knife has its own story. Even the water has a dedicated water menu — talk about ceremony! 💧📖 Dish Reviews: 🥩 Wagyu Ribeye ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can taste the beautiful marbling ❄️ — the fat melts in your mouth. The crust has a strong smoky flavor, which is tasty, but at $315, the value feels off. Personally, I’d price it around $150. Their dry-aged ribeye is actually more worth trying! 👍🏻 🦪 Oysters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 Super fresh — smooth, one-bite wonders. 🐟 Hamachi Crudo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Creative and well-executed 💡 — combines sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy notes. Definitely reflects Michelin-level finesse, though the portion is small. 🍌 Banana Tart ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Their desserts are outstanding — rich in texture, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. 📍 Gwen 6600 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 #LAFood #LALife #LASteakhouse #LAEats #LAExploration #LAMichelin
