Rhode Island | Ellie’s Bakery & Café

Since moving and reopening, Ellie’s has become one of my regular spots. Whenever friends visit Rhode Island, I take them here for brunch — I even stop by for pastries almost every day while walking my dog! 🥞 They serve brunch every morning. The breakfast menu is available until 10 AM, after which the lunch menu takes over. You can’t go wrong with anything here — but definitely try the poutine with a fried egg on top! ☕️ They offer a wide selection of coffee and tea, plus delicious local OJ. It’s also one of the few places around that serves French press coffee. 🥐 Their macarons and chocolate-peanut butter crunch bars are absolutely amazing! The croissants are also fantastic, and they even sell canelés (only available Fridays and weekends). 🍷 On Friday and Saturday evenings, Ellie’s transforms into a wine bar featuring wines curated by Gracie’s sommelier, along with small tapas.
