Rhode Island Providence’s New Canteen! 🎉

🧡Stumbled into a brand-new Hunan spot—suddenly I’m back in China and crying happy tears . They just opened, so the dining room is still half-empty; perfect for us in-the-know regulars. 🧡Quick fire review ⬇️ Chili-Pork Stir-fry: non-negotiable—order it. Salted-Egg Pumpkin: crunchy, fragrant, worth the calories. 🍺Golden-Broth Beef: odd funk for me, friend loved it. Stir-fried Gizzards / Mountain-bamboo with Smoked Pork / Hunan Beef: all legit, wok-hei for days. 🍺Pounded Eggplant w/ Chili & Century Egg: addict-level if you like the combo. Squirrel Fish: skip—soggy sweet mess. 🥐Dry-fried Green Beans: straight-up ceiling tier.Fish-fragrant Eggplant: slightly sweet, I could inhale a vat. 🥐Water Spinach: eat it the second it lands—peak freshness.Passion-fruit Iced Green Tea: meh. Eat in—small plates lose soul in take-out boxes. Bonus: the pork ratio swings from “where are the chilis?” to normal, so you always win the meat lottery. 📍 Chef Yao #RhodeIslandEats #BrownUniversity #Providence
