RI | The Charming Providence Athenaeum Library

💧Rhode Island is small, and Providence is compact — yet it’s a delightful place to explore. 💧After wandering around Brown University, we strolled down the street and stumbled upon this cozy little library. I’m not sure how many books are housed here, but the building has about three levels. 🔥 The first and second floors have a few reading nooks and seating areas, though most visitors just take a quick look around the main level before leaving. 🔥I didn’t take many photos since the camera shutter sound felt too loud and disruptive — I only snapped a few of the striking sculpture near the entrance and a quiet scene by the window. Overall, it’s a beautifully refined little library. ✅For dinner, we tried Palo, which focuses mainly on vegetarian dishes:The eggplant and fried fish were highly recommended.The corn ribs were just okay. ✅The saucy baby potatoes were tasty but a bit heavy.The omelette was unfortunately not very good. #RhodeIsland #BrownUniversity #Providence
