🚡 Riding the Longest Tramway in the US to Sandia Peak 🌄

Sandia Peak Tramway – At 2.7 miles, it’s the longest aerial tram in the U.S. and a must-do in Albuquerque! Most visitors come for the famous sunset views, so arrive early—the lines get insanely long! 😮 I’d read that reservations were recommended, so I booked the earliest slot at 5:00 PM. We arrived at 4:38 PM, parked, and sure enough—we were asked at the entrance if we had a booking. They let us up even before our scheduled time! 👍 Many people dress up fancy to enjoy dinner at the top while watching the sunset. 👗🍽️ But since the sunset wasn’t until around 7:15 PM—and waiting to go back down would take even more time—we decided to just enjoy the stunning views of the city and the mountains instead. 🌆🏔️ Did you know? The shaded side of the peak has ski slopes! It must be a major attraction in the winter. 🎿❄️ After taking in the views, we took the tram back down around 5:45 PM. By then, the line going UP was HUGE—everyone rushing to catch that golden sunset! 😅 Definitely book in advance if you don’t want to wait!
