The Tramway was a great experience during my recent stay in Albuquerque. The day I landed, I opted for the Saturday “city lights” ticket (entry 4-8pm; discounted)which gives a sunset view/evening experience. Although I wished I could have watched the sunset while going up the tram/while on the peak instead of peeking from the line, I enjoyed the city light view. If I ever return I would like to experience the Tramway during the day or before/at sunset to see the terrain.

Here are my takeaways: Weekend = Assume long line, come ~1hr early. Restaurant reservations = skip the line Breathtaking view!

The worst experience ever. We had to catch a flight, and we reserved enough time for the back trip. However, not only the tram got delayed, we also had to wait till the next next round to get on, which wasted us 1 hour on the top and meaning we wouldn’t be able to catch the flight. We asked the staff if it’s possible to ask someone volunteer to switch with us, but they refused without any mercy and blamed us for getting in the line too late. In conclusion, firstly the tram is not on time; secondly, their attitude towards their customer is the worst...
