Road Trip USA: Part 1 | Guitar Center in LA
My first stop: flying all the way from Xiamen to Los Angeles! ✈️🌴 I stayed at The Moment Hotel on Sunset Boulevard. While the hotel itself was pretty basic, its location was unbeatable — right next to a Ralph’s supermarket for all my essentials, with tons of cafes, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. But the real highlight? The Guitar Center right across the street! 🎸✨ As a music lover, I was absolutely thrilled. The selection was incredible — from electric guitars to vintage keyboards — it's a paradise for anyone passionate about instruments (and apparently, their gear reviews are quite popular on a certain video platform too!). That said… the weather was no joke. 🥵 Despite it being winter in LA, the heat was intense — I almost felt like I was getting heatstroke! By the end of the day, I had zero energy left for selfies… A little heads-up for fellow travelers: The famous "Sunset Boulevard photo spot" you often see on social media isn’t actually on the main stretch — you’ll need to drive a bit to reach it. The real Sunset Boulevard looks just like in my photos: vibrant, busy, and full of local life! And one last note — yes, parts of Downtown LA can still feel gritty and chaotic, but that doesn’t take away from its raw energy and charm. ❤️🌆 Travel tip: If you’re visiting, pack layers — LA weather can be surprisingly hot even in winter! And don’t forget to explore beyond the tourist spots. #LATravel #LosAngeles #SunsetBoulevard #GuitarCenter #MusicLover #TravelDiaries #USAWestCoast #ExploreLA #CityVibes #RoadTripUSA #UnfilteredLA #TravelMemories
