Road Trip with Kids to North Carolina’s Discovery Place 🦕🦖
Before setting off, I was doing some research and saw sisters recommend Discovery Place Science in Charlotte. A quick check revealed it’s part of the ASTC Passport Program, so I added it to our Charlotte itinerary. Discovery Place Science Tips: 🌟Admission 🎫: ASTC provides two adult tickets and four tickets for kids under 18. Parking 🅿️: $14 per vehicle, park in the museum’s parking garage. Bring your parking ticket when you exchange it for admission; they’ll stick a QR code on the back of your parking ticket, which you’ll use to pay when leaving. 🌟The place is packed with activities: a small aquarium, observation tanks with little animals, a mini amusement park, STEM interactive games, craft stations, a tropical rainforest exhibit, and a dinosaur hall, enough to keep everyone entertained for half a day. 🌟Each exhibit is exceptionally well-designed. For example, the dinosaur hall not only displays and explains dinosaurs but also has dinosaur toys and a stamp collecting game; the tropical rainforest exhibit features a suspension bridge and the damp, warm climate of a real rainforest. It’s friendly for all ages, from the littlest kids to the not-so-little ones – everyone will have a blast! The cafe is pretty basic, with just two microwaves for heating food. Overall, just as the sisters described, it’s a fantastic place to take the kids. It’s very appealing to both kids and adults. If you’re in Charlotte or passing through, don’t miss it, sisters! #GreatPlaceForKids #FamilyDaily #Museum #ASTC #RecommendAPlace #Charlotte #TravelingWithKids #Moving #OnTheRoad
