Rooster Cafe Firenze

In Florence, there are two branches of this place, one at Porta Rossa and the other at Sant'Egidio. Both have delicious food, so you can choose the one that's closer to you. However, both locations tend to get quite busy, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, when you might have to wait in line. They don't accept any reservations, so it's important to plan your visit accordingly. They offer a wide variety of dishes, both sweet and savory. We ordered a pancake and a chicken waffle. The pancake was truly amazing—soft, sweet, but not overly so. The chicken waffle I had was the stone version with extra eggs and bacon. 😍😍😍 There's also an option without the extras, but I personally think it's better to go without, as the portion size is already quite large. The chicken, eggs, and bacon were really tasty, but unfortunately, the waffle was overcooked and quite hard on the day we visited. However, I was told by a staff member that they've never had a dish that didn't meet their standards, so feel free to order with confidence. Just be aware that the portions are generous, so it might be a good idea to go with a group of friends with big appetites.❤️❤️❤️ For drinks, two of my friends ordered strawberry and banana smoothies, which they said were really good. I went for a juice called "pink something," and while I wasn't initially very hopeful because their juices are all mixed with many fruits, I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't taste like any specific fruit but was very enjoyable.😻😻😻 I highly recommend visiting either location. The food is consistently good, but I'd suggest going for lunch rather than breakfast, as the portions are really substantial and you might not be able to finish everything early in the morning.🐟🐟🐟 We spent a total of 46€ for three drinks and two dishes. The prices are generally reasonable, but my loaded chicken waffle did drive up the total cost. I think an average of around 15-20€ per person is a fair estimate. **Addresses:** - Via Sant'Egidio, 37r, 50123 Firenze FI - Via Porta Rossa, 63R, 50123 Firenze FI **Operating Hours:** - Porta Rossa: 9:00-23:00 - Sant'Egidio: 9:00-16:00 Both locations are closed on Mondays. #Florence #Brunch #Foodie #FoodDiary #FoodExploration #FlorenceFood #FlorenceBrunch
