Rooster Cafe Firenze

💰**Rooster Cafe** is a brunch spot with two locations in Florence—one at Porta Rossa and the other at Sant'Egidio. Both serve delicious food, so you can choose the one that's closer to you. However, they tend to get quite crowded, especially on weekends, and you might have to wait in line. They don't accept reservations of any kind, so plan your visit accordingly. 📜They offer a wide variety of dishes, both sweet and savory. We ordered a pancake and a chicken waffle. The pancake was truly amazing—soft, sweet, but not overly so. I had the chicken waffle stone, which comes with an extra serving of eggs and bacon. There's also an option without the additional ingredients, but I personally think it's better to go without, as the portion is already quite large. The chicken, eggs, and bacon were delicious, but unfortunately, the waffle was overcooked and became hard to cut. However, a friend told me that she's never had a bad experience with their food, so feel free to order with confidence, but be aware of the generous portions. I would recommend inviting friends with big appetites. 📜For drinks, two of my friends ordered strawberry-banana smoothies, which they said were quite tasty. I had a juice called "Pink Something," and while I wasn't initially excited about their juices because they mix many fruits, I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't a precise flavor of any one fruit but was very enjoyable. 📜I highly recommend visiting Rooster Cafe. None of the dishes we tried were disappointing, but I suggest going around noon rather than early morning, as the portions are substantial and you might not be able to finish everything if you go too early. We spent a total of 46 euros on three drinks and two dishes. The price was mainly affected by my extra-loaded chicken waffle. I think an average of around 15 to 20 euros per person is reasonable. **Opening Hours:** - Porta Rossa: 9:00-23:00 - Sant'Egidio: 9:00-16:00 Both locations are closed on Mondays. #Florence #Brunch #RestaurantReview #Foodie #FoodieDaily #FoodReview #FlorenceFood #FlorenceRestaurant
