If you’re dating in DC and haven’t been to Rose’s Luxury, let’s just say someone isn’t doing their job right 😉. This is hands-down one of the most romantic restaurants in the city. It’s been a solid Michelin one-star holder since 2017—truly a timeless gem! ✨ We celebrated a birthday here recently, and the experience was absolutely magical. The service was beyond thoughtful—they surprised us with off-menu dishes, and when I mentioned one dish was a bit too sweet, they quietly had the kitchen whip up a new version just for us! 🥹 Plus, they brought out not one, but FOUR birthday desserts, and even sent us home with a cute gift bag! 🎁💖 This place is perfect for groups of 2–4. The menu isn’t huge, but some dishes are designed for two. Since we were a party of three, our server adjusted portions so we could try almost everything—so generous! Here are my favorites: ▪️ Jumbo Green Asparagus with Pineapple Aioli: Honestly, even better than their famous Pork & Lychee Salad. A must-order! 🥬🍍 ▪️ Italian Beef Sandwich Pasta: My top pick among the mains—perfectly balanced savory-sweet. The other pastas and rice cakes leaned sweet, so they made us a custom black pepper pasta—so thoughtful and delicious! 🍝👌 ▪️ Miso Glazed Cod “à la Chefs Nobu & Robuchon”: Skip the pork chop—this cod is 100x better! Tender fish with silky mashed potatoes. If you're two people, order this! 🐟🥔 ▪️ Desserts: The Mole Negro Sticky Toffee Pudding and Cornbread Fried Ice Cream were the least sweet and totally delicious. The others?
