Rumor Has It – Ramen That Rivals Ramen Nagi! 🍜
🇺🇸 LA Food Discovery / Long Beach Eats HiroNori Craft Ramen 📍 610 E Carson St, Long Beach, CA 90807 A friend recommended this spot, saying it was Michelin Recommended in 2019—finally made the trip out to Long Beach to try it! Overall, a solid experience. 🍜 Tonkotsu Ramen – The Michelin-recommended bowl. Tried the popular black garlic oil and added spicy sauce on the side. The broth and pork were decent but not mind-blowing—just okay. The soft-boiled egg was the star though! Perfectly runny yolk—I could’ve eaten three of those! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🍗 Crispy Chicken – Very similar to Taiwanese salty crispy chicken. Crispy outside, tender inside, generous portion. The dipping sauce elevates it, or squeeze lemon for a fresher take. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🥢 Pork Buns – The surprise favorite! Tastes like a refined version of Chinese braised pork with preserved vegetables—sweet onions cut through the richness, and the pork melts in your mouth. The bun is soft and fragrant. I was already full but finished every bite! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💰 Price: These three items came to $59 including the auto-added 16% tip—about $30 per person. Pretty affordable for the quality! 🅿️ Parking: There’s a lot behind the restaurant—use the back entrance to go straight in.
