SA | Brew’s Lee Transforms into an Adorable Korean Bubble Tea Spot
How many of you still remember this place? Before the pandemic, it was Brew’s Lee, a Taiwanese bubble tea shop that also served braised pork rice and other Taiwanese snacks 🍛🧋. After the pandemic, it closed — but now it’s been reborn as a Korean-style bubble tea café! Walking in, you’re greeted by a whole wall of instant noodles 🍜📸 and Polaroid photos covering the front counter. The fridge is stocked with various Asian drinks and kimchi. Even the drink seals are cute — featuring a soft, fluffy little bear 🐻💕. 🍓 Strawberry Yakult (caffeine-free) Perfect for those who want a drink in the evening without the caffeine jitters! 🍓✨ This strawberry yogurt drink is refreshing and comes with real strawberry chunks. I got 25% sweetness — just right; any sweeter would’ve been too much. 🍙 Kimbap (Seaweed Rice Rolls) The portion is huge — easily enough for two people to share! It’s filled with carrot, egg, Spam, imitation crab, yellow pickled radish, and spinach. A bit loosely rolled, and the rice was slightly firm, but still tasty overall. Would definitely order again with my tea next time! 🥤 WOO RI TEAHOUSE #LifeInNorthAmerica #SanAntonio #SanAntonioFood #SanAntonioChineseFood #SanAntonioEats
