i've been here twice and my bestie and i LOVE this cute lil place. yes it's near downtown, but there's always parking for us. plus the trip is worth it- the drink prices are fair, the kimbap comes with a LOT of pieces and filling, and the service is amazing. all the workers are so sweet and you can tell they love what they're doing!
drinks: so far i've tried the rose milk, matcha milk, matcha&taro milk, and mango milk boba teas, but they're flavored so well. also, when they first opened, i wanted a particular flavor that wasn't on the menu and they made it for me :D the only critique here is probably the boba- it's not as soft and i wish it were sweeter (perhaps more time boiling and more brown sugar syrup?)
food: the kimchi and vegetarian kimbaps are 10/10. all the ingredients taste and look so fresh. the tteokbokki is okay
studying: it's a small space and every time we come it's bustling, so this is great to study in if you like background noise!
extras: they have stamp cards, which is perfect if you're a student. also, you can take cute polaroids and put them up. and they sell cup ramen...

I have food allergies and the person who took my order made sure to tell the people preparing my food not to include the ingredients I'm allergic too in the dish. That immediately left me impressed. Then, as I was waiting for my meal, one of the cooks came out and asked me some questions about whether I’d be able to eat it due to possible cross contamination. After making sure I would be able to eat my food she went back to the kitchen and I waited for my food. I thought it was taking a tad longer than I expected -not that time was an issue, I just found it unusual. When my meal was ready, the lady from the kitchen came and told me that they used new batches of vegetables so that there would be no chance of cross contamination. That was so special! It was most definitely worth the wait.
I’ve never been there before, I had a fairly straightforward request, and I didn’t expect for my experience to be too different than that from any other restaurant, but I was left very impressed with their kind hospitality. And not to mention, my meal was...
Read moreI’ve been really into kimbap lately so I was looking forward to trying this place. The service was good, the cashier young lady was helpful and lovely. I ordered honey yuzu black tea and kimchi kimbap. The tea was solid and I’ll order again. The kimchi kimbap on the other hand was slightly disappointing. The kimchi was more salty than spicy and it’s too salty for my taste. I’ll probably try their other kimbaps in the future. There was a little wait cause I think the food was made fresh which is a plus. They have baby changing station in the restroom. I don’t think I’ve seen them in other tea places, at least not the ones in NY.
Suggestion: Don’t forget to grab paper if you’re ordering to go, the exterior of the kimbap packaging can be oily. Depending on your pickiness, you might want to try using fork than chopsticks. The chopsticks has too many wood shredding, it was flying all over my car when I take them...
