Saint-Émilion | A World Heritage Wine Town with Delicious Food 🍷
Last time I visited Bordeaux, France, I made a side trip to the nearby town of Saint-Émilon. It turned out to be a charming town filled with renowned vineyards, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. 🌟 The restaurant we went to was quite large and mostly frequented by locals. They had an extensive collection of wines, but since it was lunch, we decided not to order any. The oysters were incredibly fresh; with just a squeeze of lemon, there was no fishy taste at all. 🦪 The pre-meal mini-pizza was light and not filling, with a soft and chewy texture. It was my first time having soup poured over pre-cooked ingredients—it was very flavorful, and I loved the subtle sweetness of the carrots. 🥕 We ordered two fish dishes. The French really know how to cook seafood! The fish had a crispy exterior, garnished with potatoes and asparagus, and the presentation was beautiful. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and delicious with the sauce. 🐟 📍 L'Envers du Décor #France #FrenchWine #SaintEmilionChateaux #SaintEmilion #WineEstate #FrenchCuisine #SaintEmilionFood #FrenchWineEstate #BordeauxSurroundingTowns #BordeauxTravel
