Sake in London? This Place Is a Must-Try!
I never expected to find a craft sake brewery in the heart of London! ✈️ London had some great weather recently, and I decided to go for a city walk with a friend. He recommended this place. Sake? In central London? My curiosity was definitely piqued. 🎯 Maybe it was because the weather was so nice, but when we arrived, the place was bustling with people. There was no chance of sitting outside (the shop faces north, so no sunlight). The interior has two floors, but they didn’t open the second floor until it got really crowded. 🍶 The menu is on a blackboard. I tried the sake, which was decent but nothing extraordinary. It lacked aroma. The beer had rice added, and the overall taste was quite refreshing. It seemed like most locals were drinking beer. One strange thing: you can only sit outside to drink; standing isn’t allowed. What’s the logic behind that? Nearby pubs let people stand and drink, so why not here? Here, they also serve very Japanese-style dishes, like miso soup, dumplings, and fried chicken. I think you can consider this place a Japanese bistro. I’d recommend it to sake lovers who want to try something new. 📌 Unit 2A-2, 133 Copeland Rd, London SE15 3SN 🗓 Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so don’t go on those days. #AQuickSipTonight #Sake #JapaneseSake
