🐚 Salt BBQ | Top-Tier Meat, Questionable Service 🍖
Salt Korean BBQ is located near King of Prussia—great for a post-shopping meal. I usually don’t love BBQ, but this is the best Korean BBQ I’ve had in and around Philly so far. Second place goes to Pocha Street in Upper Darby—fun vibe, but Salt feels more refined overall. 🥩 BBQ Experience We were a group of four—ordered a three-person BBQ set plus à la carte dishes. The meat selection was complete and beautifully plated—very Instagram-worthy Korean presentation. They even offered four types of salt to pair with different cuts. Our server (a girl) was attentive and knowledgeable, grilling each piece perfectly and explaining which salt matched best. 📋 À la carte items: 🍲 Japchae – So good I could’ve finished the whole plate myself! 🍚 Bibimbap – A bit salty but still tasty. 🌽 Cheese Corn – Who can resist cheesy corn? 🐔 Fried Chicken Wings – Sweet-style, decent but not better than Bonchon. 🐛 Major Incident We found a huge bug in a lettuce leaf. When my friend pointed it out, a male Korean server responded with a "so what?" attitude—almost sparked an argument on the spot. The Korean manager came out later and initially sided with the staff before apologizing. No real compensation—just a mediocre cinnamon churro that we didn’t dare eat. 📝 Conclusion: Meat quality is excellent, but don’t expect much from the service—especially from some staff members. #Philly #PhillyRestaurants #PhillyEats #PhillyLife #KingOfPrussia #KOPRestaurantWeek
