Salt Lake City’s First Conveyor Belt Sushi Experience 🍣 Kura Sushi
🌟 The newly opened Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is Salt Lake City’s first conveyor belt sushi spot! It’s pretty crowded since it just launched—you can reserve via their app in advance. We waited about 15 minutes after arriving at noon. The food was decent but not mind-blowing… maybe we’ve been spoiled by all-you-can-eat sushi buffets in SLC! 😅 The dining style is fun though! Sushi plates circle around on a conveyor belt—grab whatever you like. If your favorite dish gets taken, just order it from the tablet above your table, and it’ll zoom over to you on a separate lane! 🚀 They even have robot servers delivering drinks! 🤖🥤 Plus, for every 15 plates you finish, you can try a gachapon (toy capsule machine)! The screen above your table counts your plates and plays animations when you insert them—great for kids! 🎮👧 Recommended dishes: 🍋 Yuzu Jalapeño Sweet Shrimp 🐟 Salmon Toro 🔥 Fried Scallops 🍡 Warabimochi (Kinako Mochi) 🐠 Negitoro (Tuna Scallion) 🍊 Sea Bream with Yuzu Pepper 🐙 Umami Oil Hokkai Octopus 🧀 Seared Salmon with Miso Cream Cheese Sadly, no uni today—out of stock. 😢 Three of us ate 17 plates—around $80 💵 Mostly self-service, so staff mainly help with water and clearing. Worth a visit for the experience! 📍 675 E 2100 S K, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 #SaltLakeCity #SLC #ConveyorBeltSushi #SushiLover #FoodReview #JapaneseCuisine #FoodieAdventure #UtahEats #FamilyFriendly #TrySomethingNew
