Salt Lake City|Let’s Do Brunch! 🍳🌺
Trio started as a trendy Italian restaurant a decade ago and has smoothly evolved into a brunch hotspot while keeping its flame-fired pizzas alive. It’s stayed relevant and popular! If you don’t want to wait in line at Cottage Cafe for brunch, come here instead—even on weekends, walk-ins might snag a seat. The patio is gorgeous, shaded by sails and surrounded by bright blooming roses 🌺. If possible, sit outside—it’s much more comfortable than indoors. Salmon Hash Like Avocado Toast, this is a brunch staple now. They do it well, though the salmon portion size seems inconsistent—sometimes big, sometimes small. 🐟 🍳 Trio Benedict They swap English muffins for focaccia 🍞—a win! It holds up against runny eggs without getting too soft, keeping a nice texture. 🫓 Rosemary Flatbread Served with goat cheese and roasted bell peppers—delicious! The dough is great, no surprise since pizza is their specialty. 🍝 Pomodoro + Meatball The sauce isn’t too acidic. Their meatballs used to be huge, made with veal and pork—moist and tender. Not sure now, but they look smaller these days. Nearby Spots: The popular ice cream shop Dolcetti Gelato is within walking distance—featured in my previous Utah Ice Cream Guide! 🍦 Also close by is Tower Theatre, which screens indie films. 🎬 Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🅿️ Parking: Street parking available 💰 Average cost: $30 Café Trio 📍 680 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84102 #100RestaurantChallenge #FoodDiary #BrunchGoals #SaltLakeCity #Utah #WeekendVibes #LifeInNorthAmerica #BreakfastCheckIn #SLCFood #VisitSaltLake #TravelUtah #HiddenGems #FoodieShare
