Salt Lake City|Major Disappointment‼️ Saving You One Reader at a Time
Everyone, avoid this newly opened restaurant! The vibe is retro and chic, but the food goes beyond "bad"—it’s downright dangerous. 😱 The first dish, Fried Oyster Mushroom, seemed like a mild warning but turned out to be a "small taste of disaster"—overly salty and greasy. I thought it was due to low oil temperature, but soon learned how high their heat could really go. 🍄🔥 When the Brussel Sprouts arrived, all three of us leaned in with confusion. What even is this? Each sprout was charred beyond recognition , collapsing at the slightest touch. For $13, I experienced the "magic" of molecular disintegration—not sure if I got scammed or the restaurant did. 💸🤯 The server asked how everything was, and I honestly said, "It’s too bitter to eat." Their attitude was great—they quickly replaced it, but the new plate still resembled charcoal. 😅 My friend comforted me: "Burnt veggies don’t cause cancer; burnt meat does." Then, as if by magic, the Steak 🥩 arrived right after she said that. The inside was tender, but the outside was charred to bitterness. The accompanying broccoli had transformed into mugwort and calamus—wait, do Americans celebrate Dragon Boat Festival? I took it home and hung it at my door—perfect fit! 🏮🌿 We deeply felt the restaurant’s "care": They really made sure to arrange a full carcinogenic experience for us today. ☠️💔 Service was polite, except for the half-hour wait for water and getting charged for another table’s bill… sigh, enough said. 😓 Price: $60 per person Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (only for decor) 🅿️ Parking: Not convenient Roux Restaurant 📍 515 E 300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84102 #SaltLakeCity #Utah #RestaurantFail #FoodWarning #AvoidThisPlace #DisastrousDining #Overpriced #BadFood #FoodieAlert #CulinaryFail #SLC #DiningRegrets
