📍Salt Lake City｜New Store Opening｜Beard Papa’s Is in Our Town Now! 🎉

Big congratulations to our town for welcoming another global chain—this time it’s the grandpa of cream puffs 🧔♂️🍮: Beard Papa’s! Last Saturday’s opening was reportedly packed with people. Today, I slipped out at 11 AM during work—and still ended up waiting in line for 20 minutes! The hype is real 🥳👏. Utah’s first branch is located in Sugarhouse 🍬, a neighborhood known for its artsy vibe and excellent local shops—a choice that totally won me over. This area is full of great spots! As soon as you step in, you’re hit with a sweet, inviting aroma 🍯✨. Even though I’m not a huge cream puff fan, I couldn’t help feeling excited. The store is super clean, and all staff wear gloves 🧤. The cream is filled on the spot—you can see the machine pumping it fresh into each puff (photo below!). That does make the process a bit slow, though. Since they just opened less than a week ago, currently available flavors include: • Original • Matcha 🍵 • Chocolate 🍫 • Chocolate Fondant • S’mores • Churro And for now, the cream filling is only vanilla. But chocolate and matcha fillings are coming soon! 🚀 Strawberry almond, Oreo 🍪, and other puff flavors will follow. I tried the original and matcha puffs. The filling was amazing—not too sweet, super smooth, and cool like ice cream 🍦. I was worried it might be sugary, but I didn’t even need my usual Starbucks order! However, the matcha chocolate coating didn’t have the best texture, so I preferred the original. The puff shell was just okay for me.
