Salt Lake City|Tried the Tasting Menu in the Garden for You 🌸🍽️

“Pink muhly grass, like candy floss spun by light” 🍡 Ever since I wrote about them having the best crusty bread in Salt Lake City, I’ve been curious to try their tasting menu. Finally picked a breezy evening for a date night! 💑🌆 In a not-so-polished corner, a small garden 🌿 has been transformed into a charming rustic oasis. The flower beds grow vegetables and fruits, along with some unnamed but beautifully wild plants. The layout cleverly divides the space into large group tables and intimate corners for two. The tasting menu felt quite minimal—each course was overly simple, with style overshadowing substance. Given the price and the fact that it was spread across seven courses, I had hoped for more in terms of experience. The flavors and presentation were unremarkable and forgettable. However, the sight of several large rats in the garden certainly made the otherwise evening... unforgettable 🐀😱 Overall, not recommended. For the same price per person, there are much better options across Utah. Note: A deposit is required for reservations but refunded after the meal. Their sister bakery is amazing—search “Table X” on my homepage for a dedicated review! 🥐✨ #SaltLakeCity #100RestaurantChallenge #Utah #CarnivoreDelight #FeastLikeAKing #FoodWorthyDestination #LocalGem #EatLikeALocal #FoodieRoute #HiddenFoodGem #GlobalFoodReview #AmericasFoodFiesta #StreetFoodHunter #DiningDecoded #HonestFoodTalks
