Just opened! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the Chinese owner is very polite and welcoming 🦀❤️. I ordered Snow Crab, Crawfish, and Clam with House Special sauce at Medium spice level 🌶️. The seafood was fresh, and the spiciness was much stronger than typical Cajun restaurants. However, the flavor was overly salty—so salty that just dipping it once made it hard to eat 🧂😖. According to their website, they specialize in Sichuan-style cuisine… but I’m seriously confused ❓❓❓. This has nothing to do with the fragrant and spicy crab from Sichuan. The sauce was overwhelmingly salty without any depth of flavor—not even close to the rich garlic-butter goodness of American Cajun style. Also, the American server at our table first misheard our order and brought the wrong dish. We went along with it anyway. When we asked for separate checks and whether he remembered who ordered what, he confidently said yes… but ended up splitting everything wrong. We didn’t make a big deal out of it.
