💸 Salt Lake City | ❌ Steak Night Turned into a Total Wallet Assassin!

My bestie’s birthday called for a fancy steak dinner 🥩🎂… so we dressed up and showed up — only to be utterly roasted by the experience. Honestly, every dish was memorably… bad. At this price point in California, you’d expect perfectly aged meat and flawless execution… but here? Let me tell you a story 🎭 🦐 CEVICHE Tiny portion, and the “Tiger’s milk” (onion-lime juice) was so sour it felt like a spiritual awakening — and not in a good way 🙃 🦀 JUMBO LUMP CRAB CAKE Just one — and “Jumbo” my foot, it was smaller than my palm! So forgettable I didn’t even take a pic. When a foodie like me forgets to photograph a dish… chef, you’ve got skills 😬 🥩 THE STEAKS — The Main Event (or Disaster) We ordered Filet, Ribeye, and New York Strip — all arrived looking like molecular gastronomy gone charcoal. The crust was so bitter even I — an espresso-slugging Italian-hearted woman — winced like a grumpy subway grandpa 🧓☕ Dry, overcooked, and we asked for medium! The New York Strip had zero beefy richness. And that sad little sprinkle of red shreds on a barren white plate?
