I had the pleasure of dining at La Cevicheria, and I must say it was a culinary experience like no other! This hidden gem exceeded all my expectations, and I couldn't wait to share my delightful experience in this review.
La Cevicheria's Mexican seafood dishes are nothing short of amazing. What sets this place apart is their unique take on traditional Mexican cuisine, with a focus on seafood that is simply out of this world. From the moment I took my first bite, I was transported to a coastal paradise.
The ceviche was an absolute standout. The freshness of the ingredients and the vibrant flavors combined to create a refreshing and tantalizing dish. It's clear that the chefs at La Cevicheria have mastered the art of balancing citrusy acidity with a perfect blend of spices. The variety of seafood options for ceviche was impressive, and each one I tried was a true masterpiece.
But the seafood adventure didn't stop there. Their menu offers a wide array of seafood options, from grilled octopus to shrimp tacos, and each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. The flavors were rich and layered, showcasing the best of Mexican culinary traditions.
The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.
In summary, La Cevicheria is a must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary Mexican seafood dining experience. The combination of unique flavors, exceptional quality, and friendly service makes it a standout in the local dining scene. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings. If you appreciate exquisite Mexican seafood, this place should be at the top...
Read moreSo I came twice and my first experience was amazing. I had a dine in experience and the ceviche shrimp was amazing, and the Piña colada was superb. My second experience, however, was not super great. I decided to order food to go and in doing so I had decided to order my food two hours prior to my pick up so that when I was done with work, it would be ready.. I showed up and it turns out the guy that I made an order with on the phone never submitted it to the kitchen. So when I showed up, I had to wait for my food to be ready, which completely defeated the purpose. When I told them my situation, I could tell the purpose was for them to make my ceviche as quickly as possible But in the process they gave me way less ceviche than last time. Which frustrated me even more I am sure that this is a great establishment but it’s quite clear to me that the person on the phone who took my order is extremely incompetent. I called him twice and that idiot still didn’t put my order down. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to trust this place when it comes to making orders...
Read moreThe food was ok. The waiter was great and the guacamole was excellent. I had the recommended ceviche la cevicheria, others had the tropical shrimp ceviche, meat enchiladas, and quesabirrias.
The ceviche la cevicheris was ok, the flavor was a bit fishy and the texture of the seafood was a bit mushy and didn’t feel or taste very fresh.
The tropical shrimp ceviche had a great flavor and was probably the best tasting out of the 4 dishes.
The quesabirrias were good, not a ton of flavor but ok. The meat enchiladas were not desirable, the meat was chewy and tasted old. There was no filling in the enchilada, it was dry with very little flavor.
The ambiance is fresh and fun, it was 6 pm on a Friday and only Two other tables were filled. I really wanted to love this place, as costal food is my favorite. They have some work to do with the smell of the place though. It smelled like sour cleaning rags which immediately put a bad taste in my mouth.
The price for four people with two sodas and waters was...
