Following a friend’s recommendation, we tried Texas Roadhouse, a popular American steakhouse chain. While the meat quality isn’t quite on par with New York steakhouses, the price is unbeatable – just $30 per person for a seriously full belly! And that free pre-meal bread? Absolutely legendary 🥖 🍞 Complimentary Bread The star of the meal! Soft, fluffy, and rich with a buttery, slightly sweet flavor (probably high in sugar 😅). It’s served with a cinnamon-honey butter that’s spreadable and lightly spiced – a mix between rich butter and light cream. If you love Japanese-style soft bread, you’ll adore this! 🥩 Steak Texas-style with a subtle smoky flavor. We ordered 4 steaks – 3 were overcooked 😥 Medium came out well-done, medium-well turned into a hockey puck… consistency is clearly an issue here. Ribeye: Great for fat and flavor Sirloin: Leaner but still tasty 12oz portion is plenty with 2 included sides We tried the house salad and fries – both solid! 🛎️ Service Despite the kitchen’s inconsistency, the service was excellent! They started us with a free plate of pulled pork, and when we mentioned the overcooked steaks, they remade three of them without hesitation.
