Salt Lake City ๏ฝ Food Edition ๐๐บ
After the ski resort guide, of course, youโve gotta eat and drink well too! First time in SLC โ what to try? ๐ Warm Noodle Soups Honestly, after skiing in winter, nothing beats a hot bowl of noodles. Whether itโs Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles with tomato beef brisket, or One More Noodle Houseโs Northwestern beef noodles with a marinated egg โ even in a snowstorm, your heart will feel warm. ๐ฒ Oh! Shabu Shabu & BBQ โ AYCE hot pot + rotating grill Unlimited beef (decent quality), and unlimited salmon sashimi?! ๐ฅฌ Lots of veggies too. Desserts include jelly and Choco Pies โ instant childhood flashback. Skewers were just okay โ seasoned ones were pretty salty. Try to avoid weekends to skip the long wait. ๐ฃ Mint Tapas and Sushi Their small plates are amazing!! Wagyu Steak (with veggies and eel sauce โ a whole dish on its own) Tuna Tataki ๐ (with ponzu sauce โ so fresh) Pork Belly (crispy, perfect with papaya) Fried Soft Shell Crab ๐ฆ๏ธ (not on the menu โ ask for it! Huge portion) Sushi rolls are creatively named after galaxies โ my favorite is Galaxy Lollipop. Cucumber roll with salmon is tasty and healthy ๐ค ๐ฅ The Copper Onion Wagyu Bone Marrow: roasted marrow with bread and pickled radish โ rich but not greasy (skip if you donโt like marrow). Wagyu Beef Stroganoff ๐: their homemade pasta is delicious. This place is always packed โ make a reservation! ๐ ๐ฆ Dessert Zone: Dolcetti Gelato: decorated with hanging paper umbrellas and globes. Owner highly recommends coconut sticky rice and pistachio โ so good ๐๐!! Gourmandise: lovely pastry shop (also at the airport). Tiramisu and Napoleon are must-tries. 7Buddha Tea House and Desserts: cute boba spot โ very Instagrammable. ๐ฅ Brunch: Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade: lots of biscuits and limeade ๐ฑ๐ฑ (limeade was a bit sweet for me). #SaltLakeCity #SLCFood #SaltLakeCityFoodReview ๐๏ธ๐ฅขโจ
