🍳 Salt Lake City Find | The Cooper Onion
A truly pleasant brunch spot in downtown SLC – and honestly, way better than those overhyped “Best Brunch on the East Coast” type places 😉 🥩 Wagyu Beef Stroganoff Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My absolute favorite! Rich creamy sauce + tender beef + flavorful mushrooms 🍄 They’re super generous with the beef – honestly more meat than pasta! Just a few noodles (which I love – more protein, less carbs 💪) 🦪 Black Pepper Mussels Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Also in a creamy broth – so flavorful! Perfect for dipping bread into 🥖 Though some mussels weren’t fully open (pretty common for SLC seafood) 🥗 Steak Salad Rating: ⭐️⭐️ Pretty average salad. The cheese on top was tasty, but the beef had a strong carrot flavor 🥕 Avoid if you’re not into carrots! 📋 Menu Notes: They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner with some overlap. We went for lunch – check their website for the full menu. 💰 ~$30-40 per person 🅿️ Parking: Street parking – $3.5/hour, free on Sundays Or park free for 2 hours at City Creek and walk ~8 mins 📍 111 EAST BROADWAY, SALT LAKE CITY, UT #Foodie #StudentEats #BrunchGoals #RestaurantRecs #HiddenGems #SLCFood
