🍖 Salt Lake City SLC | Smoked Oxtail Heaven! 🤤

We originally came to check out Cowabunga Bay WaterPark, but right next door was this highly recommended American BBQ spot – and we knew it was meant to be a meaty feast day! It’s a cozy little place with a steady flow of customers. While there are plenty of American BBQ joints in Utah, this is the only one that serves smoked oxtail‼️ As an oxtail lover, I had to try it! The portions are generous – just one rack of ribs and the oxtail had us full. Recommend two girls share a 2 Meat Plate. 🔥 Spare Ribs Not overly greasy, crispy and fragrant while still keeping that meaty texture – perfectly grilled! 🐮 Famous Smoked Oxtail I expected it to be oily (since oxtail is high in fat), but it wasn’t – in fact, it leaned toward the drier side. The seasoning was a bit salty for me, so I mixed it into my salad to balance it out. They also make oxtail sausage – so unique!
