SaltBBQ | The Meat is Top-Notch

Salt Korean BBQ is located near King of Prussia and is perfect for grabbing some barbecue after a day of shopping. Although I’m not usually a fan of barbecue, this place has the best Korean BBQ I’ve tried in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. The second best would be Pocha Street in Upper Darby, which has a fun atmosphere, but overall, the experience at Salt is more refined. Barbecue Experience 🌷We were a group of four and ordered a set meal for three, plus a few extra dishes. The variety of meats was impressive, and the presentation was beautiful—definitely the kind of high-end Korean BBQ that makes you want to take photos. Salt even provided four different types of salt to choose from. The server assigned to our table was very friendly, explaining which type of salt went best with each cut of meat while perfectly managing the grilling process. It’s truly a barbecue place that respects its ingredients. The à la carte items included: 🍲 Stir-fried Mixed Vegetables: Incredibly delicious! I could have eaten the whole plate by myself. 🍚 Bibimbap: On the salty side with strong seasoning, but still very tasty. 🌽 Cheese Corn: Who can say no to baked corn with cheese! 🐔 Fried Chicken Wings: They were on the sweeter side, but not as good as Bonchon. Big Incident We found a huge bug in a piece of lettuce. My friend called over a waiter, but the male server had a terrible attitude, with a dismissive look and tone. My friend was so upset that she almost started an argument. The Korean manager eventually came out and initially sided with the employee, but after understanding the situation, he did apologize. However, there was no real compensation. They just gave us a complimentary cinnamon-flavored churro, which, to be honest, looked unappetizing and we didn’t dare eat it. #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaRestaurants #Foodie #PhillyFood #PhillyLife #KOP
