Sammamish Animal Sanctuary: A Gentle Escape
💖 Stepping into this animal sanctuary, I was instantly enveloped in an atmosphere overflowing with love! Every inch of the space radiated warmth. The staff here—their eyes reflected not just duty but a deep affection and tender care for every little creature 👩💼💕. Feeding the animals was an absolute delight! Sammamish Animal Sanctuary 🐄 A special mention goes to the cow named Frilly—she’s practically the star of the sanctuary! You’ll find her image everywhere: above the sink, on the walls… filled with delightful details 💦🎨. 💌 At the entrance, there are also hand-painted postcards, each featuring one of the animals living here: ponies and donkeys 🐈, goats and pigs 🐶, chickens and ducks 🐰… Though many were once abandoned, they’ve found a true home here 🏠. Maybe some were abandoned or went through tough times, but I could feel how gentle, kind, and appreciative the animals here are toward people 💗. (Also, the horses didn’t seem very active—they mostly stood still, though sometimes you can ride them!) Little Tips: ✨Not recommended on rainy days—it gets too muddy! ✨Reserve online in advance. You can wait to donate until you arrive—buy a veggie basket (or two if you plan to stay longer) to feed the animals. #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattleguide#Seattleweekend#Seattletravel
