San Antonio, Texas 🌵
San Antonio is a charming Mexican-style city with a beautiful river winding through its heart. The River Walk is perfect for strolling, boat rides, and dining at riverside restaurants, bars, and cafés. The Alamo ⚔️ is a must-visit—it’s a key historic site from the Texas Revolution. Along with the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, it’s filled with Spanish colonial heritage. Mission San Jose is also worth a visit (and it’s free!). 🚫 Japanese Tea Garden – Not recommended if you’ve seen Jiangsu/Zhejiang-style gardens in China. Feels like a scam. 🛍️ Outlets – About an hour’s drive away, great for shopping (tax refund available). Claimed to be the 2nd largest in the U.S.—huge indeed! ⛪ San Fernando Cathedral – Visit inside during the day, and catch the light show at 9:00 PM & 9:30 PM (24 mins long, covering 300 years of Texas & San Antonio history). Food Highlights 🍽️: Breakfast at La Panadería Bakery Café ☕ – Tried the top 3 recommended items, all great! Went back a second time but the line was too long, so tried the place next door—also good. Texas BBQ at Pinkerton's Barbecue 🍖 – Beef ribs and sausage were delicious! Riverside shrimp at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. 🍤 – Okay, but nothing special. #USA #Texas 🇺🇸 🤠
