San Antonio|Taquitos – Why Is This Place So Popular?
We arrived around 12:00 PM and it was packed! 🚗 The parking lot was almost full, and there was a long line outside the door. Luckily, the line moved fast, so we didn’t wait too long to order. The ordering process is simple — just pick from the options listed on the glass board. As for the dining atmosphere… well, it’s basically an indoor Mexican-style food hall 🍽️🎶. The air is thick with the scent of food and loud, energetic Mexican music. Everyone’s talking loudly, making the whole place super lively — but also very noisy. It’s definitely not ideal for conversation, especially since my friend and I hadn’t seen each other in a while and wanted to catch up. We ended up basically yelling at each other the whole time 😅 (My bad for picking this spot! 🤦🏻♀️). The seats are fixed metal chairs bolted to the floor — can’t move them closer to chat. The whole vibe is fast-paced and efficient, but it does feel a bit rushed. 🍽️ Food Experience Maybe we didn’t order the right things this time, but overall, the food was just okay — nothing mind-blowing. The brisket I tried was a bit dry and didn’t stand out flavor-wise. Then again, it could’ve been the heat and the noise — by then, I was already feeling a bit overwhelmed 😵. Good for: Anyone who wants a quick lunch and doesn’t mind a lively, authentic Mexican street-food vibe! 📍 Taquitos West Avenue 2818 West Ave, San Antonio, TX 78201 #SanAntonio #SanAntonioLife #LifeInNorthAmerica #SanAntonioFood
