San Antonio|Vietnamese 🇻🇳 Banh Mi + Bubble Tea

This place feels like a Vietnamese fusion of Subway + Chipotle 🥖🌯. Verdict: Recommended! The only downside is it’s pretty far from me — otherwise, I’d visit way more often 😅. ✨ Banh Mi – Recommended! We chose the three-meat combo (including pig ear 🐖👂 — so good and hard to find around here!) + classic pickled carrot & daikon (cut a bit thick but tasty), cilantro, cucumber, and their special “secret sauce” made with chicken gizzard and herbs. Honestly, I think this banh mi is even better than SP Cafe’s 🏆. ✨ Summer Rolls (Goi Cuon) The shrimp version wasn’t great — shrimp tasted a bit fishy 🦐😕. But the dipping sauce was delicious! Might try the beef rolls next time just for that sauce 😋. ✨ Rice Bowl – Highly recommended! Big portion, tasty even when cooled down — perfect for picnics 🍱🌿. Includes: tangy pickled radish, crunchy cucumber, crispy shallots, lettuce, and beef. Light, fresh, and doesn’t feel too heavy — a great healthy-ish option! ✨ Bubble Tea We tried two and both were pretty meh… Thai Tea: Kinda bland 🧋 Peach Green Tea: Even lighter, barely any flavor 🍑💧 Compared to SP Cafe’s tea, this was a letdown. 📍 DR. Bánh Mì Near Alamo Ranch — good for a meal before or after visiting the now-less-crowded Daiso 🛍️. #RestaurantRecommendation #SanAntonio #SanAntonioTravel #SanAntonioFood #FoodieLife
