San Antonio | The Best Fajitas I Had This Weekend 🥩
This weekend I tried out this Mexican restaurant 🌮. It looks like a chain because there are five locations in the area. We usually go to the one on Mian St — it has outdoor seating under big shady trees, nice atmosphere, and it's pretty popular. This time, we went to another location between 281 and 410. Even though they share the same name and look like a chain, each location actually has a slightly different menu and style! The beef fajitas here were absolutely amazing!! 🤤 A colleague of mine swears by Lupe’s Tortilla — that’s usually where we go for celebrations related to her, and she always says they have the best beef fajitas. I used to agree… until I tried this place. Honestly, these fajitas are next level! When they brought it out, the plate was still sizzling loudly 🍳🔥 — and it kept sizzling for a good while! At first glance, I saw the beef was cut vertically and thought, “Oh no, this might be tough.” But the first bite proved me wrong — it was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned! The bell peppers and onions were cooked just right — soft, fragrant, and not overdone. My only tiny complaint: they didn’t have those grilled little chili peppers 🌶️, but overall, it was still fantastic. The rice that came with it was delicious too, and their guacamole was super fresh! It tasted like the avocados were mashed just seconds before serving 🥑✨ — smooth, not too salty, not too lemony, just pure fresh flavor with no signs of oxidation. We also ordered some classic Mexican dessert puffs — those round fried dough balls dusted with powdered sugar, honey, and cinnamon. Personally, I wasn’t a fan 😅 — not recommended. Since it was someone’s birthday in our group, the restaurant gave us a complimentary tres leches cake. It was… very sweet. Like, overwhelmingly sweet 🍰💥. Not recommended unless you have a major sweet tooth! Parking was easy, and we went around 1:30 PM to avoid the lunch rush — the restaurant was quiet and relaxed. The server was super friendly too! 👍 Definitely recommend this place! #SanAntonio #LifeInNorthAmerica
