San Antonio Food Review | Domingo Restaurant 🍽️
They say San Antonio is like a "Little Spain + Venice" — one friend commented: "This could easily be done back home, but in the U.S. it feels rare… Americans just eat poorly." 😅 We picked Domingo — a highly-rated spot along the River Walk with tons of reviews. The place had plenty of empty tables, but they told us we’d have to wait at least 30 minutes. Us: "But… it’s empty?" Server: "We need to make sure everyone receives good service." Honestly, I didn’t see much “good service” besides someone coming over every now and then to ask, "Is everything good?" — like, what am I supposed to say? "No, and can I not pay if it’s bad?" 😒 🍗 Chicken Fried Chicken Every side listed on the menu was there… but except for the potatoes, each was just a tiny portion. The potatoes were buried in overly rich cream sauce — so heavy it made me question life. I had to rescue the fried chicken from drowning in that greasy, creamy swamp. The only highlight? The atmosphere was lovely — moody lighting, river views, very Instagrammable. Slowly mastering the art of bougie vibes, I guess? 😂 📍 Address: 123 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78205 (It’s tucked under the Canopy hotel — take the hotel elevator down. Kinda hidden!) #FoodReview #SanAntonio #RestaurantReview #RiverWalkEats #MixedFeelings
