San Diego | Bencotto

I went to dinner with friends at an Italian restaurant called Bencotto 🌟🌟🌟✨ It’s located in downtown San Diego at 📍750 W Fir St #103, San Diego, CA 92101, which is quite convenient and easy to find. The atmosphere here is relaxed, making it a great place to chat and enjoy some drinks. The food is pretty good too. What impressed me the most was the tiramisu 🍰 It looks adorable, like a little potted plant, but tastes absolutely amazing! My friends all said it’s the best—sweet but not too heavy, with a smooth and creamy texture. For the main course, we ordered two types of pasta. The one I’d recommend more is the squid ink tagliatelle 🦑 (listed as tagliatelle al nero di seppia on the menu). The black noodles are coated in a rich sauce and served with large shrimp that are incredibly springy and flavorful. The other pasta was good too, but the squid ink one was truly memorable～ Overall, the ambiance and food here are very pleasant—not too formal, perfect for a casual get-together with friends.
