San Diego | An Amazing Lobster Roll Experience
I tried a seafood restaurant in San Diego the other day, and it was absolutely amazing! 😍 The place is called Ironside Fish & Oyster, located at 1654 India St. I heard their lobster roll is famous, and as a first-timer, I’m so glad I didn’t end up disappointed! 🍞 The lobster roll’s bread was toasted with butter, making it crispy on the outside and soft inside—so fragrant! 🦞 It was stuffed with fresh lobster meat, tender and slightly sweet. The restaurant also served a special sauce that paired perfectly with it! ✨ What’s more, the staff kindly cut the lobster roll in half for me, making it easy and elegant to eat. 🥣 I also ordered a clam chowder soup, which was incredibly rich and flavorful! Tearing the bread apart and soaking it in the soup was so satisfying~😋 The soup was loaded with ingredients, and every spoonful had tender clams—I couldn’t stop drinking it! 🦪 We also caught Happy Hour and tried oysters and shrimp. 🦐 The shrimp were served cold but were huge and delicious with the dipping sauce. The oysters were just okay—maybe Happy Hour ones are smaller—so we ordered some other varieties later. Still, it was a great experience overall. 📌 I originally wanted to visit the popular San Diego market, but I heard they don’t serve lobster rolls or uni rice on Mondays, so I’ll save that for next time. 🙏 But this meal was already healing enough! Highly recommended for seafood lovers—definitely worth a try! 👍 #SanDiegoFood #LobsterRoll #SeafoodLover #TravelDiary #FoodRecommendation #FoodieLife #CaliforniaLiving
