San Diego | Finally Tried It! Super Delicious Italian Food

I finally got to visit the Italian restaurant Cesarina that I’ve been wanting to try in San Diego! The restaurant is tucked away on a quiet street. As soon as you step inside, it feels incredibly cozy, as if you’ve instantly been transported to a small town in Italy. 🏠 We ordered a few of their signature dishes. The first was grilled baby octopus! 🐙 I have to say, this is honestly the best octopus I’ve ever had. The outside was lightly charred and crispy, while the inside remained incredibly tender—not chewy at all. Paired with special herbs and olive oil, the flavor was wonderfully fresh and delicious. It was so good I wanted to order another portion right away! 😋 Seriously, if I had a bigger appetite, I could easily have eaten two servings by myself! Of course, besides the octopus, the other dishes were delightful too. The handmade pasta had a perfect, firm texture, and the tomato sauce was nicely balanced—tangy and sweet, clearly made with quality ingredients. 🍝 The pizza was also great, with a thin, crispy crust and just the right amount of cheese and ham on top. 🧀 The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely—not too noisy, perfect for leisurely meals and conversations with friends or family. The servers were very friendly and happy to explain the menu. 💁‍♀️ This meal was so satisfying. I’ve already decided that the next time I’m in San Diego, I’m definitely coming back to Cesarina! ✨ If you also enjoy Italian food, I sincerely recommend giving it a try, especially that baby octopus—you won’t be disappointed! 👍 #SanDiegoEats #ItalianRestaurant #Cesarina #FoodDiscovery #AmazingOctopus #HandmadePasta #HiddenGemRestaurant #FoodDiary
