Today I found a super classy French restaurant in San Diego! It’s tucked inside a Forbes Five-Star hotel and named “Amaya”✨. As soon as you step into the hotel, you’re greeted by a strong old-money vibe—elegant, classic, and low-key luxurious🏛️. The hotel itself is like an estate, complete with a golf course🏟️ and a Michelin-starred restaurant, Addison, which I heard requires reservations months in advance. Although I didn’t get to try Addison, Amaya definitely caught my eye! The plating is incredibly delicate, with every dish looking like a work of art—perfect for photos📸. Honestly, the dining experience here feels more about enjoying the atmosphere and ritual🍽️. Each dish is carefully prepared, but the biggest surprise was actually the bread🥖—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of aroma! As for the main courses, the flavors are subtle and refined, and might be best appreciated by those with a deeper understanding of gourmet food🍷. The ambiance is absolutely a highlight here!
