San Diego | Great Plaza Buffet

Driving from the South Bay to San Diego for this buffet was absolutely worth the trip! πŸš—πŸ’¨ I had always heard great things about this place, and experiencing it myself proved it to be true. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was drawn in by the wide array of dishes. I heard they prepare up to 148 different items daily, and just seeing their careful presentation showed me how much effort the store puts in. There was none of the carelessness or haphazard feeling that some buffets have; the first impression was excellent. πŸ‘Œβœ¨ Among all the dishes, the most pleasant surprise was the salmon sashimi. 🍣 Its marbling was very distinct, and the flesh had a fresh, glossy look. Putting it in my mouth, I could clearly taste the natural sweetness and freshness of the fish. The texture was smooth, neither dry nor greasy, and the quality was completely comparable to expensive Γ  la carte Japanese restaurants. After just one bite, I was completely in love. The hot food section truly captured our family's Chinese cravings!πŸ”₯ The freshly served crayfish were still steaming hot and looked incredibly appealing with their bright red color. The shrimp meat was plump and thoroughly infused with the rich, savory sauce. The pepper salt crab was also exceptionally well-made; the shell was fried to a crispy crunch, so much so that you could chew it directly, while the crab meat inside remained full and sweet. πŸ¦€ And then there were the garlic shrimpβ€”the garlic aroma had fully penetrated the meat. Eating them one by one was so satisfying, you'd even want to savor the flavor left on the shells. πŸ˜‹ This is truly a restaurant where both adults and children can eat to their heart's content. We all agreed that driving from the South Bay specifically for this was a great deal, and we had no regrets. It seems the recommendations on Xiaohongshu were really reliable and didn't steer me wrong! Almost every friend who has been here praises it, and for good reason. πŸ’― In conclusion, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. If you also like buffets, I highly recommend you give it a try! πŸ‘ πŸ“ Location: 1840 Garnet Ave San Diego, CA 92109 #SanDiegoFood #BuffetRecommendation #FamilyDining #FoodDiscovery #FoodieLife #CaliforniaLife #GreatValue
