San Diego | Rockin‘ Baja Lobster
On Thanksgiving Day, all the restaurants near Old Town were closed. The four of us wandered the streets for a while, our stomachs growling 😣. Just as we were worrying, we saw the lights on at "Rockin‘ Baja Lobster"—it was actually open! We hurried inside like we’d found a savior ✨. The atmosphere inside was lively, like a different world compared to the quiet streets outside 🎉. We ordered two seafood combo platters, and when they arrived, we were stunned: huge plates piled high with fried shrimp, fish pieces, tortillas, plus generous servings of rice and beans—it looked incredibly generous 🍤🌮! We had been worried it might not be enough, but the portions were so substantial that sharing between the four of us, we couldn’t even finish it all 👍. My favorite was the fried shrimp from the combo—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and absolutely delicious with the special dipping sauce 😋. The tortillas were soft too, and wrapped with beans and meat, they tasted amazing! We chatted while we ate, and the Thanksgiving evening suddenly felt so warm 💖. When we were almost full, the server brought the final surprise: a serving of ice cream for each of us 🍨. We thought we couldn’t eat another bite, but after one taste, we couldn’t stop—it was rich, creamy, with a sprinkle of chocolate chips, not too sweet, and really delicious! Instantly, the whole Thanksgiving meal felt even more perfect 🎊. Even though we stumbled into this place by chance, we left feeling satisfied and happy 😄. Sometimes, the unplanned experiences turn out to be the nicest ones~ If you’re in the area, I’d recommend giving it a try! #ThanksgivingDinner #PleasantSurprise #SeafoodFeast #FoodShare #RockinBajaLobster #GreatIceCream #DinnerForFour
