🌸 San Diego | Timken Museum of Art 🖼️

This weekend, while visiting Balboa Park to see the pear blossoms 🌸, I dropped into the Timken Museum of Art – and what a lovely surprise! 🎟️ Free admission – and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming! 📸 Photography is allowed (no flash or selfie sticks, though!). The museum is intimate and thoughtfully organized into five or six galleries by the artists’ nationalities. It primarily features oil paintings 🎨, with a handful of sculptures. One painting that truly captured my attention was a breathtaking depiction of Yosemite Falls 🏞️. A staff member noticed us admiring it and kindly came over to chat about her own hiking experiences in Yosemite.
