San Diego | Waiting Over an Hour for These Tacos Was NOT Worth It 😮‍

If you search for "San Diego food," you’ll definitely come across El Gordo Taco — known as the "best taco in town" 🌮👑. Of course, I had to try it! 🍃 Environment: Went around 8 or 9 PM (can’t remember exactly)—super hard to find parking nearby 🚗💢. Had to park in a garage and walk. The line was loooong 😵… but the worst part was the smell of urine lingering around 😷. Even after getting inside, you have to queue again at different counters, all while squeezed next to the restroom door. So uncomfortable 😣! Finally got our food, but then had to wait again for outdoor seating… 😇 Overall, a terrible experience. 🧸 Taco Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ After trying them, I honestly thought, "Is this really the best San Diego has to offer?" 🥲 Cabeza and lengua were decent and tender 👍 But the tripa was a disaster… bitter and unappetizing 👎 The crowded environment made it impossible to enjoy even a second drink 🥤 Made me miss LA’s street taco stands even more! 🐙 Verdict: Not recommended.
