San Diego Check-in | Keep Coffee

This trip to San Diego, my feed was totally flooded with posts about this café! 📚 After seeing so many recommendations and notes, I was genuinely curious and decided to check it out myself~ And luck was on my side—I actually made it in time for their seasonal specials! 🍀 As soon as I spotted the 【Lavender w Matcha】 and 【Lavender Coffee】 on the menu, they totally caught my eye. Lavender with matcha? Lavender with coffee? The combinations sounded so intriguing, I just had to try them! I ended up going with the lavender matcha, and when it arrived—it was absolutely Insta-worthy~ The top layer was a soft, light purple lavender cream cheese foam, with a subtle floral scent that wasn’t overpowering at all, just really gentle and soothing. 🌿 I took a small sip, and the creaminess of the foam slowly melted together with the slight bitterness of the matcha… Wow, they paired so well! I was a little worried the lavender might taste too perfume-like, but not at all! It just softly introduced a hint of floral aroma, balancing perfectly with the mild astringency of the matcha. The overall flavor was super smooth and not even a bit heavy. 💜 My friend ordered the lavender coffee, and I snuck a taste~ ☕️ I thought the floral notes might clash with the rich coffee, but surprisingly, they didn’t! The lavender fragrance blended gradually into the coffee—it wasn’t a battle of strong flavors, but more like a gentle wrap around the bold bitterness of the coffee. It was smooth, layered, and seriously delightful! All in all, this place did not disappoint~ The seasonal specials were so thoughtfully made, and the flavors totally hit the mark. So worth it! 👍 If you’re ever in San Diego and into light floral drinks, you’ve really got to give these a try. #SDCoffee #SanDiegoTravel #Coffee
