San Diego Culinary Journey
When I passed by Phil's BBQ after 3 PM, I thought it wouldn't be crowded since it's not peak dining hours... But the moment I stepped in, I was totally shocked! š„ The place was almost full ā how popular is that! After tasting the food, I instantly understood why ā it totally lives up to the hype! Every dish made my heart race! š š„ Must-try favorites: 1ļøā£ BEEF RIB DINNER ā three huge beef ribs with a smoky aroma, juices bursting out as you cut into them! The meat is so tender it falls right off the bone, way better than any pork ribs I've had before! 2ļøā£ EL TORO ā a thick beef patty with special sauce, each bite filled with charred and meaty goodness, pure happiness! šÆ āļø Quick note: There's a branch at the airport, but the menu is super limited. Before leaving, I couldn't resist and made a special trip back to the main store for one last feast! Just writing this is making my mouth water again 𤤠Another strong recommendation is Azuki Sushi Lounge! The ingredients here are incredibly fresh! Every dish is a flavor explosion! ⨠š£ Must-order list: ⢠Uni Toast ā crispy toast topped with golden sea urchin, melts in your mouth ⢠Shigoku Oyster ā fresh oysters with a clean, oceanic sweetness ⢠"R U Kidding Me?" sushi roll ā so loaded you won't believe it ⢠Bluefin Three Ways ā three ultimate ways to enjoy bluefin tuna š¶ The perfect ending: after your meal, take a stroll through nearby Balboa Park. Enjoy the evening breeze and walk off the food ā now that's what life should be like! šæ #SanDiegoEats #SDfoodie #SanDiegoFood #CaliforniaTravel #CaliEats #CulinaryJourney
